Black Thrash Attack

Malicious/Century Media Black 1996

Black Thrash Attack was Aura Noir's first and only release on the German label, Malicious Records (who also released Dødheimsgard, Vond, Zyklon-B, Mortiis, and Borknagar). The album was unchained in 1996 and later licensed by Century Media for worldwide distribution. Blasphemer of Mayhem joined the band for the album, and played guitar on all tracks. Aura Noir left Malicious Records, due to the fact that the label were dirty scumbags.

Thrashnotes

"Recorded in the same studio as Dreams like Deserts with the same sound guy. This was actually our second attempt to record BTA. Before Blasphemer joined the band, me and Aggressor were in a different studio doing 6 of Aggressor's songs, but the drum sound in particular was so bad we decided not to use it (Maniac was the sound guy. Huh!) The only released track from this session is "Tower of Limbs and Fevers" with Fenriz on vocals. Also there are two songs from the first BTA recording that never has been released. We used the lyrics though."
